The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is pleased to announce that Louis “Lou” Ruvolo, D.B.A.(A.B.D.), M.B.A. has been appointed Vice Chair of the IACBE Board of Commissioners. 
Dr. Ruvolo is serving his second three-year term with the Board of Commissioners that began in April 2024; he previously served as an IACBE site visit team member and chair for five years. Dr. Ruvolo currently serves as an adjunct professor at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ, and also at Felician University in Rutherford, NJ. He previously held full-time positions at each university over the last fourteen years. Dr. Ruvolo is passionate about academic program assessment and improvement, teaching strategies, and curriculum design. He gained deep experience in the broad topics of management, marketing, information systems, finance, accounting, and legal from his 30+ year international corporate career. He regularly teaches classes in human resource management, health care management, business strategy, and business ethics.
His research interests include strategy, leadership, and human resources management in the general business arena and the healthcare industry. Dr. Ruvolo is in the final steps of completing his D.B.A. at the International School of Management in Paris, France. He earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Saint Peter’s University.
