Thought Leader Joint Webinar Nov. 10

Throughout history, the one true factor driving humanity and bringing nations and people together has been the pursuit of commerce and prosperity. It is now more evident that society needs business leaders who seek more inclusive and sustainable economic models, which lift people up rather than leaving them behind. In these challenging times, businesses are facing increasing demands whether profit should come before social responsibility, but this does not have to be an either-or decision. Research has shown businesses which use a social capitalism approach can outperform those that pursue a classical capitalism approach.

While the world has changed significantly since the 20th century, especially during the past year, our duty as educators of tomorrow’s business leaders is to prepare our graduates to lead with a mindset that business can be used as a force for good in society and can still be profitable.

Join us for a historic collaboration between ACBSP and IACBE to explore this important topic. Our keynote speakers, Dr. J.D. Mosley Matchett, Interim Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University College of the Cayman Islands and Dr. Daryl D. Green, Dickinson Chair of Business, Paul Dickinson College of Business at Oklahoma Baptist University, will be joined by a panel of members from both the IACBE and ACBSP to further explore “Business as a Force for Good” and how we build this into our business programs.

Tuesday, November 10, 2020 – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST.
