The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is pleased to announce that Katalin Kovacs, DBA, has been elected to the IACBE Board of Commissioners.
Dr. Kovacs is serving her first three-year term with the Board of Commissioners, which began in April 2025; she previously served on the Board of Commissioners for over eight years as an IACBE site visit team member and chair. Dr. Kovacs currently serves as the CEO of Kovacs Global Consultancy and as Director of Global Development at Peregrine Global Services. She is based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Previously, she also worked as Dean/ Associate Dean of Global Education Programs at Maastricht School of Management, establishing and managing a wide portfolio of programs across the globe (Europe, China, Middle East, South America, Africa). She also led the Global Partnership team at London Southbank University in the UK. Dr. Kovacs continues to work with various national and international accreditors.
Dr. Kovacs holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) in History and Political Science, a Master of Public Administration Degree from Jacksonville State University, USA, and a Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Bath, UK. Kati is fluent in English and Hungarian.
