The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is pleased to announce that Ignacio C. Cordova Jr. DBA, FBE, CHE, CTMP, CHMP,CHCD has been elected to the IACBE Board of Directors.
Prof. Dean Ignacio C. Cordova, Jr. represents the Asian regional assembly and begins serving his first three-year term in April 2025. Dr. Cordova serves as the College Dean of the College of Hospitality and Institutional Management and College of Business and Accountancy at Our Lady of Fatima University on six campuses. With a directional statement of “Driven by Vision, Fueled by Innovation,” he has achieved significant accomplishments in quality assurance, accreditation systems, industry collaboration, international recognition, and curriculum innovation.
Beyond his role at the university, Dr. Cordova holds key positions in several research, professional, and regional organizations, including serving as Founding Chairman of the International Alliance of Certified Hospitality and Tourism Professionals(IACHTP). He is actively involved in the Philippine Commission on Higher Education as a Member of the Technical Committee for HM/TM disciplines and has represented the country at international conferences and high-level round table discussions. He is an accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation. Internationally, he is a known figure in the Asia Cooperation Dialogue- University Network (ACD-UN) and chairs the Editorial Board of the Hospitality and Tourism Research Journal in Asia and the Pacific. His expertise extends to bridging the gap between industry and academia, as evidenced by his successful research, consultancy projects, and the establishment of Mega Dragon Construction, a property development company.
