The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) is pleased to announce that Heather Pfleger, Ed.D. has been elected to the IACBE Board of Commissioners.
Dr. Pfleger will serve in her first three-year term with the Board of Commissioners beginning April 2024: she previously served as an IACBE site visit team member since 2015, and has also taken on the role of site team chair in recent years.
Dr. Pfleger is currently serving as the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at P.I.T. She has previously held roles such as the Dean of the School of Business and Information Sciences at Felician University, Dean of the School of Business and Education at Gwynedd Mercy University, and Dean of Outcomes Assessment at Centenary University. Prior to her career in higher education, she worked as a Corporate Economic Analyst at various financial institutions.
Heather holds an Ed. D. in Instructional Leadership from St. John’s University, an M.B.A. in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a B.A. in Economics and French from Rutgers University. She has been actively involved with the IACBE, serving as a Regional Officer, Board of Directors member, and Site Team Chair for several visits. Personally, Heather resides in Harleysville, PA, with her husband, Drew McLean.
