DoorDash to be part of new Student Competition

Students around the world are eager to be kicking off quite a unique fall semester in our new virtual world.

Despite the odd semester we have on our hands, CapSource and IACBE have joined together once again to host a series of two Fully Virtual Live Case Competitions this Fall aiming to highlight the importance and growing prevalence of industry-integrated experiential learning. Our case competitions have always been impactful because they allow students to solve up-to-date, real-world challenges for innovative companies looking to leverage novel insights from our next generation of business leaders. This year, the first Fall Virtual Live Case Competition is going to be bigger and more exciting than ever before!

We have partnered with DoorDash, one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world, so we can encourage students to think differently as they work in small teams as emerging young professionals. They will prove that their insights can make a real impact on the future of one of the fastest growing private companies.

What can you expect? Well, take a look at last Spring’s Live Case Competition with Coinsource – The Most Trusted Bitcoin ATM Network. Every member of the undergraduate winning team from Oregon Tech (plus one member from Mount St. Mary’s University) was offered a paid summer internship by the project mentor and Director of Sales and Marketing, Derek Muhney. Derek allowed the group of young scholars to implement their suggestions of how to grow the business through a B2B pivot.

The undergraduate winning team from Oregon Tech – Quinn Damitio, Tanner Karp, Jared McBride and Peter Simonson – developed some impressive final deliverables, beating ten other teams from around the world. When the interns checked in with the CapSource team earlier this summer on Facebook Live to share how their internship was going, we learned that every student was presented with a full-time offer from Coinsource!

Be sure to register today for one of the upcoming competitions!
