IACBE President Presents Session at 2014 International Conference on Business, Economics, and Information Technology
Lenexa, Kansas, USA (March 2014) – On March 17-18, 2014, Mr. Dennis N. Gash, President of the IACBE, traveled to Taipei, Taiwan to present an invited session at the 2014 International Conference on Business, Economics, and Information Technology (ICBEIT 2014).
During the conference, which was attended by delegates from twelve countries and territories, Mr. Gash presented a plenary session entitled “The IACBE and its Process of International Accreditation and Quality Assurance.” The session introduced the IACBE and its mission, accreditation philosophy, and approach to quality assurance. He also described the IACBE’s value proposition for higher education institutions around the world and explained the IACBE‘s outcomes-based approach to quality assurance and enhancement.
The annual International Conference on Business, Economics, and Information Technology provides a venue for scholarly interactions among academics, researchers, students, and representatives from industry and government. The theme of each conference is “Doing Business in the Global Economy: Economic, Political, Social, Cultural, and Technological Environments.”
