John Brown University SIFE students appear on national television
Three members of the John Brown University Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team appeared on the December 4 episode of the live television broadcast America Talks. America Talks is a production of SAFE TV and is hosted by Carlos Pardeiro (center). Also appearing on this episode was Senator Jim Holt (far left). JBU students included (left to right) Clayton Anderson (co-leader of the 2008 ADVANCE Guatemala team), Mirna Ordonez (graduate student and assistant SIFE director) and Karen Guerrero (JBU SIFE Team President). The group shared about SIFE and about various ADVANCE Guatemala initiatives including the Santa Cruz Stove Project, collaborations with Tita Evertsz in La Limonada, and the Thread & NeedleSewingSchool in Villa Nueva. America Talks is broadcast globally by satellite and internet.

At the 2007 General Assembly of the European Federation of Schools (FEDE), Dr. Bob Roller, IACBE president, presented a workshop entitled “Evaluation des realisations et resultats d’une ecole - le planning strategique” (Integrating Strategic Planning and Outcomes Assessment).
